AFRICAN BATIK TRAPEZE DRESS - Pink and Brown
Easy, throw on pieces that fit a multitude of sizes and shapes.. and shapes that can be teamed up with trainers or elevated to heels and lipstick with ease.
That's the way I have always liked to dress.
Wearing clothes that are NEVER saved for "best"
Life is too short.
If you're in your 50's you might remember grandparents or Great Aunts who proudly kept whole rooms for best, and the only time you entered the hallowed sanctuary of doilie covered sofa or drank from the best china, was when someone died...Such a huge shame...and what a great waste of such beautiful things that should be enjoyed, often.
Wear what you love, every day!
I'm so thrilled to be offering more own label pieces that means you not only get something unique that's not in every store, but you're supporting a local pattern cutter and maker who gets to work creatively in the UK.How good is that ???
There are two fit versions -
For those who are 6 - 8 - 10 -12 you might like to choose version A, and for those who are 12-14-16-18 choose version B but, I want you to know that my model Anita is an 8 and she loved the outsized voluminous fit of B as well as A.
You can also wear the dresses with long sleeved T shirts underneath to change it up for cooler weather. They also look incredible with a floppy cardigan belted over.
I've deliberately cut the shape like a trapeze/shuttlecock so it looks oh so beautiful and voluminous whether you're petite or curvy - the Version A is scaled down so it shouldn't drown you if you're very slight, there are no fastenings - it just pulls on over your head. There is a fixed nature to the bodice so if you find that it's not fitting right - please get in touch by email :
firstname.lastname@example.org with your bust measurements in cm's and again around the band of your bra - and we can get one made up for you.
